    Lamination:
In this discussion, I will touch on industrial lamination of technical fabrics.
During the lamination process, a minimum of two media are bonded together. In our case, the media comes in roll goods and can consist e.g. of a glass fabric and an aluminum foil The foil may have a self adhesive layer which could be bonded by applying pressure, called pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA). Other adhesives need to be thermally activated, in order to bond, called thermal sensitive adhesive (TSA).
Laminations can be found in automotive dashboards, counter tops or on Technical Fabrics for protective clothing.
